Unanimously
considered by the critics as one of the most important guitarist in Europe,
Andrea Vettoretti carries on an intense concert activity bringing him to be
considered as a guitar ambassador in several countries around the world.
Born
in Treviso, he obtains his diploma with full marks at the “G. Rossini”
Conservatory of Fermo.
He
then continues his studies at the prestigious “Ecole Normale de Music” of
Paris under the guide of M° Alberto Ponce, where in only two years he passes
the “Diplome Supérieur de Execution” and the “Diplome Supérieur de
Concertiste”.
In
Paris he also attends several Master Classes held by worldwide famous Masters
such as: Mstilav Rostropovitch, Alicia de Larrocha, Stephen Dogson, David Russel,
Alberto Ponce, characterizing a full musical preparation.

He
has won twelve National and International Competitions, including:
Città di Ravenna, “B. Terzi” in Bergamo, “Rovere d’oro” in
Imperia, the “Subinates prize” in Switzerland.
In
2000 he won the XV edition of the prestigious A.R.A.M. selection of Rome.
He
regularly plays for prestigious concert organizations in Italy, France,
Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, Poland, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Canada, USA and
South America, warmly received by the public and critics alike everywhere.
During
the XXXIII° edition of the “Grolla d’oro” (Arts International Prize) he
was awarded a Classical Music Plaque in recognition of his artistic services.
He has recorded Six Cds: “Sonate” (Rivoalto), “Reminiscenze” (Phoenix
Classics), “Tra le corde” and “World Dances” (Sinfonica).
His
fifth CD “Italian Coffee” is published by the recording company Urtext
Digital Classics.
His
Sixth CD "Oh Sole Mio” is published by the recording company Sinfonica with
music by Francisco Tarrega.
The
interest for his guitar repertoire enrichment has brought him to collaborate
with several composers, many of whom dedicated their works to him.
He
is also part of the Ensemble “3 Movements”, together with Corrado de Bernart
(piano), Mauro Carboni (contemporary dance), choreography by Milena Zullo.
He
is the Art Director of the prestigious International Guitar Festival “Delle
Due Città” Treviso – Rome.
The
piece “L’ultimo caffè insieme” from the CD “Italian Coffee” is also
in the soundtrack of the film “Lullaby” by the director Davide Del Degan.
He
